एवं भविष्यतीत्येवं पितरस्तमथाब्रुवन्।
तं क्षमस्वेति निषिषिधुस्तत: स विरराम ह॥ १०॥
अनुवाद
तत्पश्चात पितरों ने वरदान देते हुए कहा, 'ऐसा ही होगा।' साथ ही, उन्होंने यह कहकर उन्हें क्षत्रियों का संहार करने से रोक दिया, 'अब शेष क्षत्रिय कुल को क्षमा कर दो।' इसके बाद परशुराम शांत हुए॥10॥
Thereafter the ancestors gave the boon saying, 'It will happen like this'. Also, they stopped him from killing the Kshatriyas by saying, 'Now forgive the remaining Kshatriya clan'. After this, Parshuram became calm.॥10॥
