उनके द्वारा रची गई नाना प्रकार के म्लेच्छगणों की विशाल सेनाएँ नाना प्रकार के कवच आदि से आच्छादित थीं। सभी ने नाना प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण किए हुए थे और सभी सैनिक क्रोध से भरे हुए थे। उन्होंने विश्वामित्र की सेना को उनके सामने ही तितर-बितर कर दिया। विश्वामित्र के प्रत्येक सैनिक को म्लेच्छ सेना के पाँच-सात योद्धाओं ने घेर रखा था। 39-40।
