मैंने ऐसे (शुभ) लक्षण देखे हैं, जिनसे पता चलता है कि पाण्डव यहाँ अवश्य आएंगे। हे राजन! उनके यहाँ आने का कारण सुनिए - स्वयंवर को क्षत्रियों को कन्यादान करने की सर्वश्रेष्ठ विधि बताया गया है। हे राजन! आप सम्पूर्ण नगर में स्वयंवर की घोषणा करवा दीजिए। तब पाण्डव, चाहे दूर हों, निकट हों अथवा अपनी माता कुन्ती के साथ स्वर्ग में हों - जहाँ कहीं भी हों, स्वयंवर का समाचार सुनकर यहाँ अवश्य आएंगे, इसमें तनिक भी संदेह नहीं है। अतः हे राजन! आप स्वयंवर की सूचना (सर्वत्र) पहुँचा दीजिए, इसमें विलम्ब न कीजिए।
I have seen such (auspicious) signs which indicate that the Pandavas will definitely come here. O Lord of kings! Listen to the reason for their coming here - Swayamvara has been told to be the best way of giving away a daughter in marriage to Kshatriyas. O King! You should announce the Swayamvara in the entire city. Then the Pandavas, whether they are far away, near or in heaven with their mother Kunti - wherever they are, they will definitely come here after hearing the news of the Swayamvara, there is no doubt in this. Therefore, O King! You should inform about the Swayamvara (everywhere), do not delay in this.
