"हे राजन! आप उनके पास जाएँ। वे आपका यज्ञ सम्पन्न कराएँगे।" उपयाज के वचन सुनकर राजा द्रुपद मन ही मन यज्ञ के स्वरूप की निन्दा करने लगे। किन्तु फिर अपने कर्तव्य का विचार करके वे यज्ञ के आश्रम में गए और पूज्य याज मुनिक की पूजा करके उनसे इस प्रकार बोले -॥20-21॥
"O King! You should go to him. He will get your yagya performed." On hearing the words of the Upaayaj, King Drupada started criticising the character of the yajna in his mind. But then after thinking about his duty, he went to the yajna's ashram and after worshipping the venerable Yaaja Munika, he spoke to him in this manner -॥20-21॥
