तयोरण्डानि निदधु: प्रहृष्टा: परिचारिका:॥ १४॥
सोपस्वेदेषु भाण्डेषु पञ्चवर्षशतानि च।
तत: पञ्चशते काले कद्रूपुत्रा विनि:सृता:॥ १५॥
अण्डाभ्यां विनतायास्तु मिथुनं न व्यदृश्यत। |

| दासियों ने प्रसन्न होकर उन दोनों के अण्डों को गर्म कुंडों में डाल दिया। वे अण्डे पाँच सौ वर्षों तक उन कुंडों में रहे। पाँच सौ वर्ष पूरे होने पर कद्रू के एक हजार पुत्र अण्डों को फोड़कर बाहर निकल आए; किन्तु विनता के दो बालक उसके अण्डों से निकलते हुए दिखाई नहीं दिए। |
