परम बुद्धिमान महात्मा विदुर को एक गुप्तचर द्वारा उस पापी पुरोचन के कार्यों का पता चल गया था। इसीलिए उन्होंने उस समय उस बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति को वहाँ भेजा था। उन्होंने पाण्डवों को मन और वायु के समान वेग से चलने वाली, सब प्रकार से वायु के वेग को सहने वाली तथा ध्वजाओं और पताकाओं से सुसज्जित एक नौका दिखाई। उस नौका को चलाने के लिए एक यंत्र लगाया गया था। वह नौका गंगाजी के पावन तट पर विद्यमान थी और उसे विश्वसनीय व्यक्तियों ने बनवाया और तैयार किया था। 3-5
The most intelligent Mahatma Vidur had come to know about the activities of that sinful Purochana through a spy. That is why he had sent that wise man there at that time. He showed the Pandavas a boat which moved as fast as the mind and the wind, which was capable of withstanding the speed of the wind in all ways and was decorated with flags and banners. A machine was installed to run that boat. That boat was present on the holy banks of Gangaji and it was built and prepared by trustworthy people. 3-5.
