दह्यमाने स्वके गेहे दग्धा इति ततो जना:।

| उस समय लोग यही समझेंगे कि उनके ही घर में आग लग गई और पाण्डव उसमें जल गए। अतः वे पाण्डवों की मृत्यु के लिए हमें कभी दोषी नहीं ठहराएँगे॥17॥ |
