उर्वश्येकादशी तासां जगुश्चायतलोचना:।
धातार्यमा च मित्रश्च वरुणोंऽशो भगस्तथा॥ ६६॥
इन्द्रो विवस्वान् पूषा च त्वष्टा च सविता तथा।
पर्जन्यश्चैव विष्णुश्च आदित्या द्वादश स्मृता:।
महिमानं पाण्डवस्य वर्धयन्तोऽम्बरे स्थिता:॥ ६७॥
अनुवाद
इन प्रधान अप्सराओं में उर्वशी ग्यारहवीं है । बड़े-बड़े नेत्रों वाली ये सब सुन्दर स्त्रियाँ वहाँ गान करने लगीं । धाता और अर्यमा, मित्र और वरुण, अंश और भग, इन्द्र, विवस्वान और पूषा, त्वष्टा और सविता, पर्जन्य और विष्णु—ये बारह आदित्य माने जाते हैं । ये सब पादुनंदन आकाश में खड़े होकर अर्जुन का मान बढ़ा रहे थे । 66-67॥
Urvashi is the eleventh in the category of these main Apsaras. All these beautiful women with big eyes started singing songs there. Dhata and Aryama, Mitra and Varun, Ansh and Bhaga, Indra, Vivasvan and Pusha, Tvashta and Savita, Parjanya and Vishnu—these are considered to be the twelve Adityas*. All these Padunandans were standing in the sky increasing the importance of Arjuna. 66-67॥
