वह पुत्र उत्पन्न करके तथा श्राद्ध कर्म करके पितरों को तृप्त करता है और परोपकार से मनुष्यों को तृप्त करता है। धर्म की दृष्टि से मैं ऋषि, देवता और मनुष्य तीनों ऋणों से मुक्त हो चुका हूँ। अन्य पितरों का ऋण तो इस शरीर के नष्ट हो जाने पर भी कदाचित ही नष्ट हो सकता है। हे तपस्वी ऋषियों! मैं अब तक पितृऋण से मुक्त नहीं हो सका हूँ।
He satisfies the ancestors by producing sons and performing Shraddha rituals and by benevolent behaviour, he satisfies the humans. From the viewpoint of religion, I have become free from all the three debts of sages, gods and humans. The debt of the other ancestors can hardly be destroyed even after the destruction of this body. O ascetic sages! I have not been able to free myself from the debt of ancestors till now.
