भरतश्रेष्ठ! इस सुन्दर पर्वत पर हमने अनेक ऐसे प्रदेश देखे हैं, जहाँ जाना अत्यन्त कठिन है। यहाँ देवताओं, गन्धर्वों और अप्सराओं की क्रीड़ास्थली है, जहाँ सैकड़ों विमान ठसाठस भरे रहते हैं और मधुर गान की ध्वनि गूँजती रहती है। इसी पर्वत पर कुबेर के अनेक उद्यान हैं, जहाँ कहीं भूमि समतल है और कहीं ऊबड़-खाबड़।॥10-11॥
‘Best of the Bharatas! On this beautiful mountain we have seen many such regions, where it is very difficult to go. There is the playground of the gods, Gandharvas and Apsaras, where hundreds of aircrafts are packed to the brim and the sounds of sweet songs keep resonating. On this very mountain there are many gardens of Kubera, where the land is flat at some places and uneven at others.॥ 10-11॥
