पाण्डु बोले - यह बड़े खेद की बात है कि श्रेष्ठ पुरुषों के कुल में उत्पन्न हुए मनुष्य भी अपने विवेक पर नियंत्रण न होने के कारण काम के जाल में फँसकर अपनी बुद्धि खो देते हैं और गलत कर्म करके महान दुर्गति को प्राप्त होते हैं॥ 2॥
Pandu said - It is a matter of regret that even those born in noble families of noble men, due to lack of control over their conscience, get entangled in the snare of lust and lose their wisdom and by committing wrong deeds, fall into great misery.॥ 2॥
