अणीमाण्डव्य उवाच
बालो हि द्वादशाद् वर्षाज्जन्मतो यत् करिष्यति।
न भविष्यत्यधर्मोऽत्र न प्रज्ञास्यन्ति वै दिश:॥ १४॥
अनुवाद
अणिमाण्डव्य ने कहा, 'शास्त्रों के अनुसार, जन्म से लेकर बारह वर्ष की आयु तक बालक जो कुछ भी करेगा, वह पाप नहीं होगा, क्योंकि उस समय तक बालक शास्त्रों के आदेशों को जानने में समर्थ नहीं होगा।'
Animandavya said, 'According to the scriptures, whatever a child does from birth till the age of twelve years will not be sinful because till that time the child will not be able to know the injunctions of the scriptures.'
