उस समय, विधिपूर्वक सत्यवादी महर्षि व्यास ने (शरीर पर घी लगाकर, शांतचित्त होकर तथा तिरस्कारपूर्वक) अम्बिका के भवन में प्रवेश किया। उस समय वहाँ बहुत से दीपक जल रहे थे॥4॥
At that time, according to the rules of the ritual, the truthful sage Vyasa entered Ambika's palace (with ghee smeared on his body, with a composed mind and in a scornful manner). At that time, many lamps were being lit there.॥ 4॥
