"पूरी तरह से उसके प्रभाव में आकर, नासिकाएँ निरंतर उसके लिए तरसती रहती हैं, हालाँकि कभी उन्हें वह मिलता है और कभी नहीं। जब मिलता है, तो वे जी भरकर पीते हैं, हालाँकि वे फिर भी और अधिक चाहते हैं, लेकिन अगर नहीं मिलता, तो प्यास से मर जाते हैं।"
"Under its full influence, the nostrils crave it constantly, though sometimes they obtain it, sometimes they do not. But when they find it, they drink to their heart's content, though they desire more. But if they do not find it, they die of thirst.
