"कृष्ण की शारीरिक कांति इंद्रनील मणि के समान चमकती है और तमाल वृक्ष की कांति से भी बढ़कर है। उनके शरीर की कांति समस्त जगत को उन्मत्त कर देती है क्योंकि ईश्वर ने दाम्पत्य प्रेम के रस को परिष्कृत करके और उसमें चन्द्रमा की चमक मिलाकर उसे पारदर्शी बना दिया है।"
