शरद ऋतु की चांदनी में, श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने समुद्र को यमुना नदी समझ लिया। कृष्ण के वियोग से अत्यंत व्यथित होकर, वे दौड़कर समुद्र में कूद पड़े और पूरी रात जल में अचेत रहे। प्रातःकाल, उन्हें उनके निजी भक्तों ने पाया। माता शची के पुत्र, श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु अपनी दिव्य लीलाओं से हमारी रक्षा करें।
Seeing the sea on a moonlit autumn night, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu mistook it for the Yamuna River. Deeply distressed by the separation from Krishna, he ran and jumped into the sea and remained unconscious in the water for the entire night. In the morning, his devoted devotees found him. May Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the son of Sachi Mata, protect us with his divine leelas.
