"कृष्ण के घुंघरूओं की झंकार हंस और सारस के गीतों से भी बढ़कर है, और उनकी चूड़ियों की ध्वनि चातक पक्षी के गायन को भी लज्जित कर देती है। इन ध्वनियों को एक बार भी कानों में प्रवेश करने देने के बाद, मनुष्य कुछ और सुनना सहन नहीं कर सकता।
"The sound of Krishna's anklets surpasses even the songs of swans and cranes, and the sound of his bracelets puts to shame even the song of the chataka bird. If these sounds are allowed to enter the ears even once, nothing else can be tolerated."
