उनकी वाणी कोयल के समान मधुर थी और वे श्रीमद्भागवत के प्रत्येक श्लोक को तीन-चार सुरों में सुनाते थे। इस प्रकार उनका पाठ सुनने में अत्यंत मधुर लगता था।
