श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु एवं उनके पार्षदों की कृपा से मैं भगवान की लीलाओं एवं गुणों का यह वर्णन लिख रहा हूँ। मैं ठीक से लिखना नहीं जानता, परन्तु यह वर्णन लिखकर मैं अपने आपको शुद्ध कर रहा हूँ।
I am writing this story of Mahaprabhu's pastimes and qualities by the grace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his devotees. I do not know how to write it properly, but by writing this account I am purifying myself.
