चूँकि श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान हैं, वे प्रत्येक वस्तु से प्रयोजन निकालते हैं। उन्होंने दमयंती के अपने प्रति स्नेह को स्वीकार किया, और इसीलिए उन्हें सुकुटा के सूखे कड़वे पत्तों और काशण्डी (एक खट्टा मसाला) से भी अत्यंत आनंद मिलता था।
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and therefore He absorbs the essence of everything. He accepted Damayanti's affection for Him; therefore, He derived great pleasure even from the dried bitter leaves of Sukuta and the sour spice Kāśāndi.
