अनुवाद
'विष्णु के एक हजार पवित्र नामों का तीन बार जप करने से जो पुण्य फल प्राप्त होता है, वह कृष्ण के पवित्र नाम के केवल एक उच्चारण से प्राप्त हो सकता है।'
“The merit obtained by reciting the thousand holy names of Vishnu three times is the same as that obtained by reciting the name of Krishna just once.”
तात्पर्य
ब्रह्मांड पुराण का यह श्लोक रूप गोस्वामी की लघु भगवतामृत (1.5.354) में मिलता है. कृष्ण के नाम का एक बार जप करने मात्र से राम के नाम का तीन बार जप करने से मिलने वाले समान फल मिलते हैं.
