“जब गोपियाँ भगवान कृष्ण की रासलीला में अनुपस्थिति के कारण असंतोष से अभिभूत हो गईं, तो कृष्ण उनके पास लौट आए और उनसे कहा, ‘हे गोपियो, हमारा मिलन निश्चित रूप से सभी भौतिक कल्मषों से मुक्त है। मुझे स्वीकार करना होगा कि अनेक जन्मों में भी तुम्हारे ऋण से उऋण होना मेरे लिए असंभव होगा क्योंकि तुमने केवल मेरी खोज के लिए गृहस्थ जीवन के बंधनों को तोड़ दिया है। इसलिए मैं तुम्हारा ऋण चुकाने में असमर्थ हूँ। इसलिए कृपया इस संबंध में अपने ईमानदार कार्यों से संतुष्ट रहें।’
“When the gopis were dissatisfied and distraught with Krishna due to his absence from the Raas Leela, Krishna returned and said to them, “O gopis, our union is undoubtedly free from all material contamination. I admit that I will not be able to repay this debt to you all even in many lifetimes, because you have broken your family ties to find me. Therefore, I am unable to repay this debt.
