"न तो वे लोग जो भगवान के ब्रह्म तेज की सराहना करते हुए आत्म-साक्षात्कार में लगे हुए हैं, न ही वे लोग जो भगवान को स्वामी मानकर भक्ति में लगे हुए हैं, और न ही वे लोग जो माया के चंगुल में फंसे हुए हैं और भगवान को एक साधारण व्यक्ति मानते हैं, वे यह समझ सकते हैं कि कुछ महान व्यक्तित्व, पुण्य कार्यों के भंडार जमा करने के बाद, अब भगवान के साथ ग्वालबालों के रूप में मित्रतापूर्वक खेल रहे हैं।"
“Those who are engaged in self-realization by appreciating the divine effulgence of the Lord, and those who are engaged in devotion by accepting the Lord as their master, and those who remain bound in the snares of Maya by considering the Lord as an ordinary man, can never understand that some great men, after accumulating many virtuous deeds, are playing with the Lord as friends in the form of cowherd boys.”
