श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने अपने सभी भक्तों को बुलाया और उनका हाथ पकड़कर विनम्रतापूर्वक कहा, "तुम सब मुझे अपने प्राणों से भी अधिक प्रिय हो। मैं अपना प्राण त्याग सकता हूँ, परन्तु तुम्हें त्यागना मेरे लिए कठिन है।"
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu called all his devotees together, took their hands, and humbly said to them, "You are all dearer to me than my own life. I can give up my life, but it is difficult for me to give up you all."
