जब माधवेन्द्र पुरी भगवान के प्रेम के आनंद में विभोर हो जाते, तो कभी खड़े हो जाते, कभी ज़मीन पर गिर पड़ते। कभी हँसते, नाचते और गाते। इस प्रकार जगन्नाथ विग्रह के दर्शन करके उन्हें दिव्य आनंद की अनुभूति होती।
Srila Madhavendra Puri, overwhelmed with love for the Lord, would sometimes stand up and sometimes fall to the ground. Sometimes he would laugh, dance, and sing. Thus, upon seeing the Deity of Jagannatha, he experienced transcendental bliss.
