अनुवाद
"सूखे तर्क अनिर्णायक होते हैं। जिस महापुरुष की राय दूसरों से भिन्न न हो, उसे महान ऋषि नहीं माना जाता। केवल विविध वेदों का अध्ययन करने से, कोई उस सही मार्ग पर नहीं पहुँच सकता जिससे धार्मिक सिद्धांतों को समझा जा सके। धार्मिक सिद्धांतों का ठोस सत्य एक शुद्ध, आत्म-साक्षात्कार प्राप्त व्यक्ति के हृदय में छिपा होता है। इसलिए, जैसा कि शास्त्र पुष्टि करते हैं, महाजन जो भी प्रगतिशील मार्ग बताते हैं, उसे स्वीकार करना चाहिए।"
"Dry arguments are inconclusive. A great man whose opinion does not differ from others is not considered a great sage. Mere study of the various Vedas cannot lead one to the true path by which religious principles are understood. The true truth of these religious principles lies hidden in the heart of the pure and realized person. Consequently, as confirmed by the scriptures, one should accept the progressive path shown by the great men."
