अनुवाद
हे कमलनेत्र! जो लोग इस जीवन में स्वयं को मुक्त समझते हैं, किन्तु आपकी भक्ति से रहित हैं, वे मलिन बुद्धि वाले हैं। यद्यपि वे कठोर तपस्या करके आध्यात्मिक पद, निराकार ब्रह्म-साक्षात्कार तक पहुँच जाते हैं, किन्तु वे पुनः नीचे गिर जाते हैं क्योंकि वे आपके चरणकमलों की पूजा करने की उपेक्षा करते हैं।
"O lotus-eyed one, those who think they are liberated in this life but are devoid of devotion to You lack pure intellect. Although they attain the spiritual position of realization of the impersonal Brahman through severe austerities, they fall back down because they neglect to worship Your lotus feet."
