भगवान श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु की चैतन्य-चरितामृत लीलाएँ अत्यंत गोपनीय साहित्य हैं। यह सभी भक्तों का जीवन और आत्मा है। जो लोग इस साहित्य का रसास्वादन करने के योग्य नहीं हैं, जो सूअरों और शूकरों के समान ईर्ष्यालु हैं, वे निश्चित रूप से इसकी आराधना नहीं करेंगे। हालाँकि, इससे मेरे प्रयास को कोई हानि नहीं होगी। भगवान श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु की ये लीलाएँ सभी निर्मल हृदय वाले साधुजनों को अवश्य प्रसन्न करेंगी। वे निश्चित रूप से इसका आनंद लेंगे। हमारी कामना है कि इससे उनका आनंद और भी अधिक बढ़े।
This Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita, containing the pastimes of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, is a profoundly mystical text. It is the lifeblood of all devotees. Those who are unfit to savor this text, those who are jealous like pigs and dogs, will certainly not appreciate it. But this will not harm my efforts. These pastimes of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu will surely be liked by all saintly men whose hearts are pure. They will surely enjoy it. We wish that their joy will increase more and more.
