“‘वेदान्तसूत्र का अर्थ श्रीमद्भागवतम् में विद्यमान है। महाभारत का पूर्ण तात्पर्य भी वहीं है। ब्रह्मगायत्री की टीका भी वहीं है और वह समस्त वैदिक ज्ञान से पूर्णतः विस्तृत है। श्रीमद्भागवतम् सर्वोच्च पुराण है और इसका संकलन भगवान ने व्यासदेव अवतार में किया था। इसमें बारह स्कन्ध, 335 अध्याय और अठारह हज़ार श्लोक हैं।’
"The meaning of the Vedanta Sutras is found in the Srimad Bhagavatam. It also contains a complete summary of the Mahabharata. It also contains the commentary on the Brahma-Gayatri, and it is elaborately presented with all Vedic knowledge. The Srimad Bhagavatam is the most excellent Purana and was composed by the Supreme Personality of Godhead in his incarnation as Vyasadeva. It contains twelve cantos, 335 chapters, and eighteen thousand verses."
