"धृति वह पूर्णता है जो दुःख के अभाव और परम प्रभु के ज्ञान एवं उनके प्रति शुद्ध प्रेम की प्राप्ति के कारण अनुभव की जाती है। किसी लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति न होने या प्राप्त वस्तु के खो जाने से उत्पन्न शोक इस पूर्णता को प्रभावित नहीं करता।"
"Dhriti is the perfection experienced in the absence of suffering, in the attainment of knowledge of God and pure love for Him. This perfection is not affected by the suffering caused by the failure to attain a goal or the loss of something acquired."
