अनुवाद
हे कमलनेत्र! जो लोग इस जीवन में स्वयं को मुक्त समझते हैं, किन्तु आपकी भक्ति नहीं करते, वे अशुद्ध बुद्धि वाले हैं। यद्यपि वे कठोर तपस्या करके आध्यात्मिक पद, निराकार ब्रह्म-साक्षात्कार तक पहुँच जाते हैं, किन्तु वे पुनः नीचे गिर जाते हैं क्योंकि वे आपके चरणकमलों की पूजा करने की उपेक्षा करते हैं।
"O Lotus-eyed one, those who consider themselves liberated in this life without devotion to You have impure intellects. Although they perform various rigorous austerities and attain the spiritual state of realization of the impersonal Brahman, they still fall back down because they neglect to worship Your lotus feet."
