अनुवाद
“ ‘ये गुण हैं (1) भगवान सदैव अपनी मूल स्थिति में स्थित रहते हैं, (2) वे सर्वज्ञ हैं, (3) वे सदैव तरोताजा और युवा रहते हैं, (4) वे शाश्वतता, ज्ञान और आनंद के सांद्रित रूप हैं, और (5) वे समस्त रहस्यमय सिद्धियों के स्वामी हैं। अन्य पाँच गुण हैं, जो लक्ष्मी के स्वामी नारायण के वैकुंठ लोक में विद्यमान हैं। ये गुण कृष्ण में भी विद्यमान हैं, किन्तु वे भगवान शिव जैसे देवताओं या अन्य जीवों में विद्यमान नहीं हैं। ये हैं (1) भगवान अकल्पनीय परम शक्ति से युक्त हैं, (2) वे अपने शरीर से असंख्य ब्रह्माण्डों की उत्पत्ति करते हैं, (3) वे सभी अवतारों के मूल स्रोत हैं, (4) वे अपने द्वारा मारे गए शत्रुओं को मोक्ष प्रदान करते हैं, और (5) उनमें उन श्रेष्ठ व्यक्तियों को आकर्षित करने की क्षमता है जो स्वयं में संतुष्ट हैं। यद्यपि ये गुण विद्यमान हैं वैकुंठ लोक के अधिष्ठाता देवता नारायण में तो वे और भी अधिक अद्भुत रूप से कृष्ण में विद्यमान हैं।
"These qualities are (1) the Lord is always in His original state, (2) He is omniscient, (3) He is ever-new and youthful, (4) He is the condensed form of eternity, knowledge, and bliss, and (5) He possesses all the yogic perfections. Furthermore, there are five more qualities found in Lakshmipati Narayana in the Vaikuntha planets. These qualities are also found in Krishna, but not in deities like Lord Shiva or other living beings. These qualities are (1) the Lord is endowed with inconceivable supreme power, (2) He creates infinite universes from His body, (3) He is the original source of all incarnations, (4) He grants liberation to the enemies He slays, and (5) He attracts even self-satisfied souls. Although these qualities are found in Narayana, the principal form of the Vaikuntha planet, they are found in Krishna in an even more remarkable form."
