अनुवाद
'जब वह भाव हृदय को पूर्णतया कोमल कर देता है, भगवान के प्रति अत्यधिक स्वामित्व की भावना से युक्त हो जाता है तथा बहुत सघन और तीव्र हो जाता है, तो विद्वान इसे प्रेम (भगवान का प्रेम) कहते हैं।
“When that feeling completely softens the heart, is combined with a great sense of belonging to God and becomes extremely intense and dense, then it is called love (prem of God) by the learned.”
तात्पर्य
इस श्लोक का उल्लेख भक्ति रसामृत सिंधु (1.4.1) में भी आया है।
