अनुवाद
हे कमलनेत्र! जो लोग इस जीवन में स्वयं को मुक्त समझते हैं, किन्तु आपकी भक्ति नहीं करते, वे अवश्य ही अशुद्ध बुद्धि के हैं। यद्यपि वे कठोर तपस्या करके आध्यात्मिक पद, निराकार ब्रह्म-साक्षात्कार तक पहुँच जाते हैं, किन्तु वे पुनः नीचे गिर जाते हैं क्योंकि वे आपके चरणकमलों की पूजा करने की उपेक्षा करते हैं।
"O Lotus-eyed One, those who consider themselves liberated in this life but do not worship You are certainly of impure intellect. Although they perform severe austerities and attain the highest spiritual position, that of realization of the formless Brahman, they fall back down because they neglect to worship Your lotus feet."
