"For opposing Krishna consciousness, the conditioned soul is punished by the external force, the demon of Maya. Thus, he is prepared to suffer three kinds of suffering: suffering caused by the body and mind, suffering caused by the hostility of other living entities, and natural calamities caused by the demigods."
