ना दिलेक लक्ष - कोटि, सबे दिला आङ्घि दुटि
ताते दिला निमिष - आच्छादन ।

अनुवाद
"जब कृष्ण के मुख को देखने वाला इस प्रकार असंतुष्ट हो जाता है, तो वह सोचता है, 'सृष्टिकर्ता ने मुझे लाखों-करोड़ों आँखें क्यों नहीं दीं? उन्होंने मुझे केवल दो ही क्यों दिए हैं? ये दोनों आँखें भी पलकें झपकाने से व्याकुल हो जाती हैं, जिससे मैं कृष्ण का मुख निरंतर नहीं देख पाता।" इस प्रकार, कठोर तपस्या में लीन होने के कारण सृष्टिकर्ता पर शुष्क और रसहीन होने का आरोप लगाया जाता है। 'सृष्टिकर्ता केवल एक शुष्क निर्माता है। वह नहीं जानता कि चीज़ों को कैसे रचा जाए और उन्हें उनके उचित स्थान पर कैसे रखा जाए।'
“When the one who sees Krishna's face becomes dissatisfied in this way, he begins to think, 'Why did the Creator not give me millions and billions of eyes? Why did he give me only two eyes? Even these two eyes get distracted by blinking, so that I am unable to see Krishna's face continuously.' In this way, man curses the Creator that he is dry and tasteless because of his hard penance. 'The Creator is only a dry (tasteless) creator. He does not even know how to create things and place them in their proper places.'
