अनुवाद
भक्ति का अर्थ है अपनी सभी इंद्रियों को भगवान, जो सभी इंद्रियों के स्वामी हैं, की सेवा में लगाना। जब आत्मा भगवान की सेवा करती है, तो उसके दो दुष्परिणाम होते हैं। एक तो सभी भौतिक उपाधियों से मुक्ति मिलती है, और भगवान की सेवा में लगे रहने मात्र से इंद्रियाँ शुद्ध हो जाती हैं।
“‘Devotion means engaging all the senses in the service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Master of all senses. When the soul serves the Lord, it has two secondary effects. One becomes free from all material attributes, and one's senses become purified simply by being engaged in the service of the Lord.’
