श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु ने श्रीवास ठाकुर से अनुरोध किया, "प्रतिदिन सामूहिक कीर्तन करो, और निश्चिंत रहो कि मैं भी तुम्हारे समक्ष नृत्य करूँगा। तुम यह नृत्य तो देख पाओगे, पर अन्य नृत्य नहीं।"
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu prayed to Srivasa Thakura, "You should perform sankirtan daily and understand that I will also dance in your presence. You will be able to see this dance, but others will not be able to see it."
