“मैं उन आदि भगवान गोविन्द को सादर प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो सकाम कर्मों से उत्पन्न होने वाले दुःखों और भोगों का नियमन करते हैं। वे ऐसा सबके लिए करते हैं—स्वर्ग के राजा इन्द्र से लेकर छोटे से छोटे कीड़े [इन्द्रगोप] तक। वही भगवान भक्ति में लीन व्यक्ति के कर्मों का नाश करते हैं।”
"I offer my respectful obeisances to the original Lord Govinda, who controls the sufferings and karmic consequences of every being, from the king of heaven, Indra, to the smallest insect (Indra Gopa). This same Lord destroys the fruitive karma of one engaged in devotional service."
