अनुवाद
"जिनकी तपस्या अल्प है, वे भगवान के धाम, वैकुंठ की ओर अग्रसर शुद्ध भक्तों की सेवा कठिनाई से प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। शुद्ध भक्त शत-प्रतिशत उस परम भगवान की स्तुति में लगे रहते हैं, जो देवताओं के स्वामी और सभी जीवों के नियन्ता हैं।"
"Those whose austerities are too little can hardly obtain the service of pure devotees on their way back to Godhead. Pure devotees devote one hundred percent of their time to singing the glories of the Lord, who is the Lord of the demigods and the controller of all living entities."
तात्पर्य
यह श्लोक श्रीमद-भागवतम् (3.7.20) का उद्धरण है। यह विदुर द्वारा भगवान के महान भक्त मैत्रेय ऋषि से बातचीत के दौरान बोल गया था।
