ब्रह्मा आदि कृष्ण से मिलने द्वारका के द्वार पर पहुँचे। द्वारपाल ने कहा: 'हे ब्रह्मा! इस आसन पर शिवजी के साथ एक क्षण के लिए बैठिए। स्तुति-गान करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। बस मौन रहिए। हे वरुण! चले जाइए। देवता द्वार पर इतना शोर क्यों मचा रहे हैं? द्वारकाधीश के आने का अभी समय नहीं है।'"
Brahma and others arrived at the gates of Dwaraka to meet Krishna. The gatekeeper said: "O Brahma! Please sit on this seat with Lord Shiva for a moment. There is no need to sing hymns. Just remain silent. O Varuna, please go away. Why are the gods making so much noise at the gate? It is not yet time for Dwarakadish to arrive."
