Another example from Lalita-Madhava: "O Damodara Krishna! When Narada began to sing Your glories, playing his veena, Parvati, not seeing the blue color of Shiva's throat, left His abode; Balarama, seeing his blue garments turning white, abandoned them in astonishment; and the excited gopis, seeing the blue waters of the Yamuna turning white, mistaking them for milk, began to churn them."
