The Agni Purana [Alankara Khanda, 3.35] mentions this: "Vibhava refers to two kinds of alambana – the person in relation to whom Rati and other elements are experienced (vishya), the person in whom Rati and other elements are experienced (ashraya) – and uddipana, the stimulus by which Rati is experienced."
