श्रीमद्भागवत के ग्यारहवें स्कंध [11.20.8] में कहा गया है: “यदि किसी प्रकार सौभाग्य से कोई मेरी महिमा के श्रवण और कीर्तन में श्रद्धा विकसित कर लेता है, तो ऐसा व्यक्ति, भौतिक जीवन से न तो बहुत विरक्त होता है और न ही उसमें आसक्त होता है, तथा मेरे प्रति प्रेमपूर्ण भक्ति के मार्ग से सिद्धि प्राप्त करता है।”
In the Eleventh Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam [11.20.8] it is said: “If by any good fortune one develops faith in hearing and chanting My glories, such a person becomes neither too detached from nor attached to material life, and attains perfection through the path of loving devotion to Me.”
