हे मेरी विनम्र पत्नी भवानी! जब कोई दूसरों के लिए अच्छे काम करता है, तो भगवान हरि प्रसन्न होते हैं। और जब भगवान प्रसन्न होते हैं, तब मैं भी प्रसन्न होता हूँ, और साथ ही सभी अन्य जीव भी प्रसन्न होते हैं। अतः मुझे यह विष पीने दो, क्योंकि इससे मेरे द्वारा सभी जीव सुखी हो जाएँगे।
O my noble wife Bhavani! When one does acts of benevolence for others, Lord Hari is very pleased and when the Lord is pleased, I too am very pleased along with all other beings. Therefore let me drink this poison because through me all beings will be able to become happy in this way.
