पवित्र हृदय एवं ईमानदारी से भगवान् विष्णु की पूजा करते हुए तथा केवल दूधपान करके भक्त को इस व्रत का पालन करना चाहिए। उसे आग में हवन करना चाहिए तथा ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराना चाहिए जैसा कि पूर्व में वर्णित किया गया है।
The devotee should observe this fast by drinking only milk and worshipping Lord Vishnu with faith and devotion. He should perform havan in the fire and feed the Brahmins in the manner mentioned above.
