हिरण्यकश्यपु तीनों लोकों में एक ज्वर की भांति व्याप्त था। अतः जब स्वर्गीय ग्रहों में देवताओं की पत्नियों ने देखा कि महान दानव को स्वयं परम व्यक्तित्व भगवान ने मार डाला है, तो उनके चेहरे खुशी से खिल उठे। देवताओं की पत्नियों ने स्वर्ग से भगवान नरसिंहदेव पर बार-बार फूलों की वर्षा की जैसे वर्षा हो रही हो।
Hiranyakshipu was a headache for all the three worlds. Therefore, when the wives of the gods in heaven saw that this great demon had been killed by the hands of the Lord, their faces lit up with joy. The wives of the gods repeatedly showered flowers on Lord Narasimha Deva from heaven.
