यद्यपि प्रह्लाद मात्र पाँच वर्ष का है, किन्तु इतनी कम अवस्था में ही उसके द्वारा माता-पिता के स्नेह-सम्बन्धों का परित्याग कर लेना विश्वास के योग्य नहीं है। अतः इस बात पर विश्वास नहीं किया जा सकता कि वह विष्णु के प्रति उचित व्यवहार करेगा।
