आत्म-साक्षात्कार के लिए उन्नति की यह क्रमिक प्रक्रिया उन लोगों के लिए है जो सचमुच परम सत्य से अवगत हैं। इस देवयान नामक मार्ग पर बार-बार जन्म लेने से व्यक्ति क्रमिक अवस्थाओं को प्राप्त करता है। जो व्यक्ति आत्मा में स्थित है और भौतिक इच्छाओं से पूर्णतः मुक्त है, उसे बार-बार जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र से गुज़रने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है।
This gradual method of rising to Self-realization is for those who are truly aware of the Supreme Truth. These gradual stages are attained by repeated births on this path called Devayana. One who is situated in the Self and is completely free from all material desires does not need to go through this path of repeated birth and death.
