ऋतु परिवर्तन के इन अवसरों पर अगर कोई गंगा या यमुना या किसी तीर्थ स्थल पर स्नान करे, अगर कीर्तन करे, अग्नि यज्ञ करे, व्रत रखे या भगवान, ब्राह्मणों, पितरों, देवताओं और जीवों की पूजा करे या जो कुछ दान करे, तो उसका स्थायी लाभप्रद फल प्राप्त होता है।
On these occasions of change of seasons, if one takes a bath in the Ganga or the Yamuna or in any holy place, if one sings hymns, performs fire sacrifices, observes fasts, or worships the Lord, the Brahmins, the ancestors, the deities, the common people, or gives charity, then one gets permanent beneficial results.
